Today, Prof. Francis Halzen, co-spokesperson and Principal Investigator of IceCube visited us for a meet-and-greet with our PhD students and postdocs, and to give a departmental colloquium on “The first decade of neutrino astronomy”. Among many awards and distinctions, Francis received an honorary doctorate from UGent in 2014. We were happy to host him again and hope he’ll be back soon!
